‘Who’s the Boss?’ Star Danny Pintauro Reveals He’s HIV Positive
In 2001, he graduated from Stanford University with a major in English and Theater.
According to Variety, he was diagnosed in March 2003 while living in New York. “I had no idea”.
Awww, you were never a nobody, Danny! Perhaps surprisingly, his sexuality wasn’t an issue either.
Danny came out in 1997, but only because a tabloid was threatening to spill the beans.
Later in the interview, he says wanted to explore more sexually and began using crystal meth, after a two-year relationship ended. He revealed to People he had told Tabares about his diagnosis on their first date. “I’m HIV-positive, and I have been for 12 years”, he said, letting out a long sigh. “No one’s ever going to want me, ‘” he told Oprah Winfrey. “I’m going to have to have that conversation every time I meet someone, who’s gonna wanna love me?”
But when he was diagnosed with the disease he had a “sense of relief” because he had been anxious about getting it for so long.
“It’s backwards”, Pintauro said.
Although Pintauro insisted he always used condoms, he told People magazine crystal meth wreaked havoc on his immune system. You have no limits.
“Does it make you more sexual?” “I should just give up on trying to find someone”‘. “You’re doing crystal meth … swinging from the chandeliers, having sex for days?”

But now he wants to do things differently by revealing his diagnosis.
But Pintauro wants to change that, expressing his desire to be an activist for the LGBT community.
Pintauro said he is now looking forward to life as an HIV activist.
Danny Pintauro revealed to the talk queen that he is suffering from HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
Pintauro’s interview raises the question… which is harder, to come out as gay or to come out as having HIV? “That really bothers me”.
If you were a kid in the 80’s like me, chances are you spent a lot of time (too much time?) watching Who’s the Boss?
“They can’t misquote you, she said”.
