Corrie star welcomes baby boy

Huge congratulations are in order for Samia Ghadie and her fiancé Sylvain Longchambon, who have welcomed a bouncing baby boy.

Since sharing their lovely news Samia and Sylvain have received lots of congratulatory messages from friends and fans alike.

Yves is a tribute to Sylvain’s brother, while Joseph is a nod to Samia’s late father.

Yves Joseph entered the world at a healthy weight of 8lb and 9oz.

“Shortly after OK! magazine exclusively revealed the news, Samia tweeted: “@slongchambon and I are so happy and in love beyond words with our lovely boy…”

It looks like the loved-up twosome – who met and fell in love when they were paired together on Dancing On Ice back in January 2013 – are going to become Mr and Mrs in 2016!

Coronation Street’s Samia Ghadie has given birth to a baby boy.

Samia announced her pregnancy in March this year and the couple engaged a month later.

She explained: “My hair has been in great condition and my nails have been so strong due to all the pregnancy hormones flying around”.

The 33-year-old is also mum to daughter Freya from her previous marriage to property developer Matthew Smith.
