Liverpool FC youngster Lawrence Vigouroux recalled from loan spell at Swindon
Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has been sent back from a loan spell at Swindon Town after turning up late for training and paying his fine in pennies.
He would only confirm: ‘It’s a disciplinary internal matter.
The development has not been confirmed by either Liverpool or Swindon.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been with the League One club since early August.
“I’m not sure if he is (available on Tuesday)”.
“It’s come from me and the rest of the players”.
Cooper also says his side need to increase their work rate if they are to end their bad run of form.
Disappointingly though, it appears that he’s let himself down – although it would perhaps be unfair to judge yet before details of the disciplinary issue surface.
His departure leaves Town chief Mark Cooper short of options in goal, with Ty Belford the only senior stopper on their books ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Doncaster Rovers. After a loan spell with Hyde, Spurs released the goalkeeper in the summer of 2014 before Liverpool signed him after a successful trial period.
