Hugh Jackman Says an Unknown Actor Should Play Wolverine
I think it’s a really important relationship but I want to see signs of that quasi-father/son sort of relationship that has not been seen before, and sides of particularly Professor X that have not been seen before.
Australian actor Hugh Jackman who first took up the role of Wolverine in the 2000 film X-Men has been embedded in the minds of the audience as the character.
Characters in story could be changed for instance a blind Hawkeye could be replaced by a blind Scott Summers/Cyclops to which his visor has been destroyed forcing him to close his eyes all that time and he will likely fight other power house adversary like Blob instead of the Hulk.
The “X-Men” actor also told reporters present at the “Pan” press day, on how he is “pushing harder than ever before” with the third “Wolverine” film, since he wants it to be his best one yet.
Actor Hugh Jackman, who will be dropping his claws following Wolverine 3, feels Mad Max: Fury Road actor Tom Hardy will make a good Wolverine. Hugh earlier stated that he will play the character one last time and said that Tom Hardy will be the flawless successor. I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. “I’m forever grateful to Bryan [Singer] actually for giving me a shot and that’d be nice for that to happen to someone else”.
“He’s younger than me for sure”, he added.
