New Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes trailer introduces story, multiplayer
Like a cute play on the older games (and a phrase from the very first Legend of Zelda), Tri Force Heroes works perfectly with three players (one for each section of the Triforce) running through dungeons, solving environmental puzzles and smacking enemies.
Additionally, you can make up to two outfits, but they are based exclusively on the ones already created by the game’s owner. When alone without an internet connection, players can use paper doll-like figures called “Dopples” to assist them throughout their adventure.
Via Press Release from Nintendo… The kingdom is in need of heroes to help lift this curse, which can be controlled by a single player by switching between Links, or by playing with friends. In online play, you can also choose to play alongside unknown heroes not on your friend list. Finally, Download Play allows you to connect locally with two other friends who own a system in the Nintendo 3DS family, even if only one person has the game. Want to see Nintendo bring any other new features to the game?
Aspiring adventurers can look forward to these unlocking Miiverse stamps, whereas nabbing a camera from the Photo Bro will let you take snaps while exploring the treacherous Drablands that can be shared through Miiverse too.
Ahead of its release next month, Nintendo has announced more details about upcoming 3DS game The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, the top-down puzzle-solving game and sequel to A Link Between Worlds.
