The Facebook page, which is branded with the hashtag #XiUSAVisit, contains pictures and videos of Xi meeting with business people, U.S. President Barack Obama and other dignitaries and of course, pandas.
He also met U.S. Congress leaders and attended a welcoming luncheon hosted by Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry.
The Chinese president arrived in New York on Friday evening for a series of summits and meetings marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.
Xi, whose country holds veto power on the UN Security Council, called for a system of global diplomacy that is built on multilateralism and mutual respect and said the worldwide community’s move towards a “multi-polar world” and the emergence of developing markets were an unstoppable reality.
He announced that China would establish a 10-year China-UN peace and development fund amounting to 1 billion dollars to advance multilateral cooperation.
