‘The X-Files’ Fox Mulder Creates ‘A Small Problem’
New fans watching an episode a day until the show premieres: You’re in Season 4!
According to a Fox rep, these trailers won’t be released online right away, so if you can not wait for more footage from the revival, at the very least program your DVR accordingly.
The X-Files returns on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 10 p.m. on Fox. Let us know in the comment below! There are clues to everything fans are expecting from The X-Files revival and from Fox Mulder and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) in this new trailer. Not only was Darin Morgan the writer behind some of the show’s most brilliant episodes – including the Emmy-winning “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose” – but his episode, scheduled to air February 1, 2016, is entitled “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster”. They’re also not the only ones returning from the original series’ run, and there are some new faces who will be appearing over the course of these six new episodes. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have reunited for a new short season of The X-Files.
The limited series also stars Mitch Pileggi, Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Annabeth Gish, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, Kumail Nanjiani, and William B. Davis. A subversive and mercurial agent named Mulder is assigned to work in the division, and he gets help from Dana Scully, a by-the-book skeptic who doesn’t believe in Mulder’s alien mumbo-jumbo. “I know what I’m doing”, he tells her, but earlier, he does say, “We’ve never been in more danger”, so she probably has a point. We’ll update this story with official versions of both as soon as they’re available.
