Strictly Come Dancing 2015 pros promotional images released
Ranked as far out as 80/1 with some oddsmakers to be crowned the 2015 Strictly champion, the BBC Radio 2 presenter will get his competition underway alongside eight other celebrities following last night’s show.
Kirsty’s Waltz was said to have “balance issues” by Craig, and Ainsley was “moving like a headless chicken” in his Tango, said Bruno.
Panellist Bruno observed: “I like the fact that you really went for that sharp staccato”.
“It was a showstopper”, Craig Revel Horwood told Peter.
Andre confessed himself “absolutely speechless” by the judges’ remarks and with 30 points finished top of the leaderboard. “I was showing Kristina some of the steps of a barn dance so you might see a wee bit of a barn dance”, he admitted.
A few of the veteran dancers are back this year too, including Anton Du Beke (who has become something of a celeb in his own right) and Brendan Cole, who is paired up with Kirsty Gallacher.
“But I liked your posture and stance”.
Come on in and puh-lease leave your comments as we all share the magic of another year of da-da-da-da-da-da-daaaaa…
The 37-year-old looked relieved when it was all over, but the judges immediately gushed over her first dance.
Former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote scored 27/40 for her Jive with new pro Giovanni Pernice. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host.
The pair danced to The Beatles’ Roll Over Beethoven -in a nod to the TV personality’s affiliation with classical music- and Katie looked sensational in an incredible sequinned flapper number. “This is it” he said, “season 14, when they get the trophy, there will be a little sign on it: Gleb and Anita”. “You’ve got the ready, you’ve got the steady but it didn’t quite go”, added Len, while a catty Bruno added: “I wish you’d kept running”.
Duh To see just how many times in an episode the contestants will exclaim, “no one is safe this week” during their intro tape. “It started like a dream…it didn’t continue like that but the beginning was very encouraging”, agreed Bruno.
