Elisabetta Canalis on Her Engagement and Ex-Boyfriend George Clooney

Elisabetta Canalis is going to tie the knot with an orthopedic surgeon Brian Perri on the same day when her ex-boyfriend George Clooney is also going to marry his fiancé Amal Alamuddin.

The Italian actress and showgirl, 35, said that she met a 46 years old man who never married and does not have any children. It’s a very rare situation, she told the US Weekly. She said, “I met a 46-year-old man who has never married and does not have children, a rarity.”

She also added that the diamond ring has designed by her would-be husband Brian for the wedding was simply outstanding. She also remarked that Brian has put his heart and soul into the ring. The actress revealed to the media that Brian asked her father for allowing her to wear an Alessandro Angelozzi couture gown on the special day.

Sept 14, the D-day for the couple

The couple will be tying knot on September 14, 2014 in Sardinia, Italy. Elisabetta chose the wedding date on September as she told that September is the most beautiful time to visit Sardinia. Interestingly, both the wedding bells will ring in Italy on the same month! Amal, 36, the British Lawyer and George Clooney got engaged in April.

Elisabetta more concerned about her engagement

Back in 2011, the actress and George Clooney ended their two years long relation. However, the actress was straight forward while stating that she is happy for George, but she is much more concerned about her happiness. She added, it’s the most important day for her and she doesn’t want to think of the past! She said, “I am happy for him, but I am thinking only of my happiness.” She also told, “It is the most important day of my life, I don’t have time to think of anyone else.”
