‘Make India’ Before ‘Make in India’: Kejriwal on PM Modi’s Trip

Make in India would automatically happen if we first Make India. Time to ponder what has country achieved from his foreign trips so far?

Kejriwal took the dig at PM Narendra Modi who is now on a five-day visit to the USA where he is seeking to bring investments for the “Make in India” and “Digital India” campaigns. “Kejriwal has not been able to Make Delhi, how is he going toMake India”.

“For instance, Chinese first built China and then all corporate giants vied to invest in China”. With “Make In India” concept, I mean that, Indians are the most intelligent people in the world.

“The AAP is of the view that though the PM is fully justified in making efforts for the progress of the country, any step to invite foreign players shall continue to be a futile exercise till the central government changes its priorities”, the party said in a statement.

CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury had said that after Kejriwal became chief minister, his party had suggested him to convene a meeting of non-BJP chief ministers. But Congress and BJP are up to petty fights instead of focusing on policies and issues of national interest.
