Derrick Rose on rape allegations: ‘Very confident’ I will be proven innocent

Rose is in good spirits right now mentally and spiritually and that is a good sign for the upcoming season. Nobody even bothered to ask Noah about it, because he was never going to say anything other than he’s not thinking about it and he’s focused on the season.

Reiterating a statement he released last month, Rose vehemently denied the civil complaint.

Maybe James will recruit Rose to his championship-driven team in 2017.

Through his play on the court for the Bulls, Rose is saying that he will earn one of those big contracts that are being passed out and prove to the National Basketball Association, and more importantly to the Bulls front office that he is still one of the elite players in the game and deserves to be paid as such.

It would be hard to imagine Rose leaving Chicago at any point as he is already a hometown hero, playing high school at Simeon. This won’t be a distraction to him and his teammates.

Does this mean Rose will play all 82 games?

The motivation for Rose’s unprovoked talk of cashing in two injuries from now, er two years from, now seems like a passive-aggressive shot at Jimmy Butler and perhaps the Bulls.

Anyone who knows the real Rose, the kid from Chicago, knows that Derrick is just being himself here, and being honest. “Gibson’s numbers as a starter are significantly better than when he comes off the bench”.
