Kenny Rogers announces retirement from touring

Rogers, who famously sang 1983’s chart-topping Islands in the Stream with Dolly Parton, has 11-year-old identical twin sons and three older children from his previous marriages. I am going to say goodbye at that point; I have done this long enough.

Promoting his new Christmas album on the program he said: It’s happily sad and sadly happy. Those shows kick off on November 12 at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

(Radio.com) Country music legend Kenny Rogers announced that he is retiring and revealed that he plans to embark on a world next year that will also be the final trek of his 57-year music career. “I am going to do a big worldwide tour, and it is going to be my last”. He has over 65 albums and says he would still consider making new music.
