Pakistan hope to clinch T20 series against Zimbabwe

Pakistan will be eyeing to whitewash Zimbabwe in the Twenty20 series as the two sides take on each other in the second T20 on Tuesday at Harare, ARY News reports.

Pakistan’s skipper looks to seal the T20 series against Zimbabwe. Pakistan is leading the series by 1-0. Match will start at 11:00 GMT.

Akmal scored 38 not out from 28 balls and added 24 runs with Imad Wasim in the last two overs of Pakistan’s innings to boost the tourists’ total to 136 for six, which proved beyond Zimbabwe despite Sean Williams’s fighting 40 not out. Following the end of current series, another series between Pakistan and England will begin in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 13.

The matches between Pakistan and England which will continue till November 30, will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Dubai worldwide Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The Test squad will be led by Misbah-ul-Haq, the ODI squad will be led by Azhar Ali while Shahid Afridi will lead the side in T20 matches.
