Buffalo Bills RUMORS: LeSean McCoy Unlikely To Play Against New York Giants
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has dealt with lingering hamstring issues all year, and he could miss a Week 4 showdown with the New York Giants as a result.
McCoy has played every game so far this season, but he’s not playing the way he wants. Taylor’s polished play has been part of the reason for the change and McCoy’s lingering hamstring injury has also been a factor. “I am not going to say yeah, I will rest him”.
McCoy gained just 16 yards on 11 carries and said that he and the team need to look at everything when asked about possibly sitting for a week in hopes of getting closer to 100 percent.
Rookie running back Karlos Williams has led Buffalo’s rushing attack in 2015, as he is the league’s current leader in yards per rush with 7.8 per carry.
Williams hasn’t just impressed in Week 3, either. The Bills are 2-1 after three games this season and Williams has been a big part of that. LeSean McCoy continues to battle a hamstring injury, one that’s limited his practice time, as well as his in-game effectiveness. It sounds like McCoy could use a week or two of rest, but he may be healthy enough to split the workload with Williams in Week 4 against the Giants.
