Logitech Announces New G410 Atlas Spectrum TKL Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
As with other Logitech keyboards featuring these exclusive keyswitches it is claimed that users/gamers can enjoy “25 per cent faster actuation than with standard mechanical keyboards,” thanks to the switch design.
Logitech has announced a new “ultra-light” mechanical keyboard aimed at both regular gamers and eSports competitors.
Logitech has launched its first ten key less (TKL) gaming keyboard.
Boasting a simplistic tenkeyless layout-sans the numeric keypad-the Atlas Spectrum fits on a desk and in a backpack; its compact design brings your hands closer together for improved comfort. Logitech has also released a video giving an overview of the keyboard, which you can view for yourself below. Likewise, Logitech claims durability has improved to 70 million keystrokes, up to 40 percent more than competing mechanical gaming keyboards on the market. More information is available on the official product page.
The G410 Atlas Spectrum will be available in early October in the USA and Europe with a starting MSRP of $129.99. Interested gamers will be able to buy the G410 from next month.
Based on the popular (and preposterously named) G910 Orion Spark keyboard, the new model loses the numpad and a good deal of weight, but keeps the colourful RGB backlighting (which is customisable per-key) and “Romer-G” mechanical switches.
The software also allows users to sync lighting patterns across Logitech G devices, mark keys by color to track specific commands, change colors to match your setup, or create customized game profiles.
Logitech didn’t include a built-in LCD in the construction of the G410, but the keyboard does come with an Arx Control dock that you can position wherever you like.
The G410 Atlas Spectrum TKL keyboard features a dock at the top-front part of the keyboard made for Logitech Arx Control, an app for iOS and Android mobile devices that can display system and in-game information and can be used to control other Logitech G peripherals.
