One Piece: Burning Blood Coming to Xbox One in 2016
Bandai Namco announced today that “One Piece: Burning Blood” will be arriving in North America and will be shipped in 12 languages that include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Neutral Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, Anime News Network reported. There’s no word on a United States release at this time, but it can’t be too far behind. While more details about the game are coming, we know Logia Devil Fruits and Haki can be used to throw massive special moves and defeat enemies.
As for playable characters, IGN says that players will have the options to play Luffy, Ace, Bartolomeo, Crocodile, Enel, Doflamingo, Law, and Sabo. Bandai Namco promises the game “will offer a never-seen-before experience thanks to the fast-paced gameplay and unique One Piece elements!”
Bandai Namco’s Europe VP of Marketing and Digital had released a statement with the announcement of the release saying that they have been closely monitoring fan feedback during numerous events and have come up with the game specifically to meet the fan’s expectations.
This is the first time a One Piece game will be on a Microsoft console.
“One Piece: Burning Blood” will be a one on one fighting game. Reports state that this video game features the characters of “One Piece” in 3D aside from the three-player multiplay. “Stay tuned for more reveals”.
From what can be seen in the minute long trailer, “Burning Blood” looks very similar to the “Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm” fighting games developed by Cyberconnect 2. These abilities can be utilized to power up a character or block incoming attacks among other uses.
