Slipknot’s Corey Taylor to guest star on ‘Doctor Who’
Taylor, who is a massive Doctor Who fan, was contacted by the show’s production staff after they learned of his love for the series.
Doctor Who bosses believe they have found a flawless fit with Slipknot’s singer providing the growl for a new monster.
Still, Taylor had definitely earned his place alongside musical guest stars including Foxes, Katherine Jenkins and many more.
British website The Mirror reports the appearance culminated when Taylor visited the “Doctor Who” headquarters while being in Cardiff, Wales, for a Slipknot show earlier this year.
Taylor is the lead singer of American band Slipknot, known for their aggressive style of music and horror film-style masks.
The Fisher King, in case you’re wondering, is the antagonist from the upcoming two-part story Under the Lake/ Before the Flood.

The Fisher King character will appear in an episode of the show that will air next Saturday.
