SEC Week 4 bowl projections: Mississippi State makes a move
Most sites list the Bulldogs as a touchdown underdog.
The 4-0 Aggies, 1 and 0 in the SEC, are ranked No. 14.
Prescott is one of only two FBS quarterbacks this season to throw for 1,000 yards with no interceptions. Christian Kirk and Josh Reynolds have combined for 684 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Ricky Seals-Jones has 10 receptions. Meanwhile, Texas A&M continues to allow teams to hang around and has been shaky at times.
MSU is allowing 178.8 yards rushing and 170.2 yards passing per game. Defensively, Texas A&M is allowing 22 points and 367 yards per game. “We’re trying to make sure we help them out and take a few pressure off them, that way they’re not in the psychiatric ward at the end of the season or rehab”. As a team, the Bulldogs have 112 carries for 579 yards.
Defensive coordinator Manny Diaz got his payback on Auburn and the Mississippi State Bulldogs are back in the rankings. In Saturday’s win over the Auburn Tigers, Richie made 13 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss and had two sacks.
Cooper, a senior from Crystal Lake, Illinois, and last year’s starting right tackle, has started each game at left tackle this season in place of Laremy Tunsil, who is being held out while the NCAA investigates his status. Brown’s 12 solo tackles tied for the most by an SEC player in a conference game this year.
