John Stamos talks rehab, ‘Fuller House’ – and trades slaps with Matt Lauer
Stamos is something of a regular guest when it comes to the Beach Boys performing onstage.
“I talked to them, I understood why they didn’t want to come back”. “They haven’t acted shortly”.
Stamos originally reacted to news of their absence by simply tweeting “heartbroken” at the time of the announcement. Stamos served as their on-screen uncle, Jesse Katsopolis.
John Stamos is everywhere these days. The actor toured occasionally with the band throughout the 1980s, and even appeared in their music video for “Kokomo”; he’s popped up at multiple other concerts with them over the years, too. The Netflix reboot is scheduled to be released in 2016.
As for the Olsens, will fans get to see Mary-Kate and Ashley on “Fuller House?”
The series will follow the adult D.J. Tanner, recently widowed and living in San Francisco.
“You tell me”, said Stamos standing up for the test. “It’s very sweet, it has a lot of the same elements as the original did”.
The musical outing was 52-year-old Stamos’ first performance since his post-DUI rehab stint in July, reported TMZ.
