Skype Update Includes Android Wear Support
We first heard of Skype’s new Mojis a couple of weeks ago with the announcement of version 6.2, but the animated clips were nowhere to be found back then.
Skype specifically names theMoto 360, Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbaneand theASUS ZenWatchas devices the messenger will work with in itsannouncement post.
Added support for Android Wear and more!
All the basics seem to be there, and Moji support should be fun.
Other features of Skype for Android 6.4 are: Ability to decline, accept incoming calls from the Android Wear device itself. It looks like you’ll be happy you did.
These are all the changes included in the latest update for Skype for Android, but we expect Microsoft to continue to improve its application even further with new features and improvements. Like its Apple Watch counterpart, the Android Wear app allows users to respond to messages by speaking into the smartwatch, choosing from a selection of pre-written responses, or drawing a response like an emoji.
MICROSOFT HAS RELEASED a new version of its Skype app for Android containing an unexpected surprise. You will still need to take calls through your smartphone though you can still talking into your watches to reply to messages via voice-to-text. A few options also appear on the screen of the watch during a call such as the hang up, pause, mute or switch between calls.
