Enjoy Christmas Dinner at Hogwarts This Year
If you think #PotterItForward was the end of the Internet giving you all the Harry Potter feels, we do sincerely hope you’re used to being proven wrong by now.
Ever dreamed of dining at Hogwarts’ Great Hall, surrounded by your best friends as you sip on a butterbeer?
Harry Potter fans are to have their wish for an extravagant Great Hall feast granted this Christmas thanks to a glamourous event from the Warner Bros Studio Tour.
It will run from 6pm to midnight, kicking off with welcome drinks and canapés before lucky diners take their seats at the table – on the actual set that was used during filming – for a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
The set will be dressed appropriately, with props from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, including flaming Christmas puddings and hams studded with cherries.
After dinner, guests will be able to explore the Studio Tour, including the Gryffindor common room and the newly opened Platform 9 ¾ – which features the original Hogwarts Express locomotive.
Butterbeer will also be provided in the backlot café and guests will then have the opportunity to walk up the wizarding shopping street, Diagon Alley, before taking in the breathtaking Hogwarts castle model (covered in a layer of filmmaking snow especially for the festive season).
