The other victims from Thursday’s crash were identified as 18-year-old Privaudo Putradauto of Indonesia, Mami Sato, 37, from Japan and a 17-year-old Chinese student whose name was not released because she is a minor. Seattle Police said a preliminary evaluation of the driver for signs of intoxication did not find any evidence of impairment.
“It’s particularly painful for us knowing that the students who were on the bus were just about to start the school year Monday”, he said. All company drivers are required to take continuing education classes, he said.
The nature of the injuries was still being determined, she said.
While a few witnesses have said it appeared the Duck vehicle had a few sort of malfunction moments before the crash, Johnson said his driver didn’t tell him that.
The UTC is now examining such paperwork as part of an ongoing probe into the company.

Ride the Ducks President and CEO Brian Tracey did not return calls for comment Friday. A National Transportation Safety Board team was to arrive Friday and lead the investigation.
The NTSB wants to speak to witnesses or those with information about the crash.

Fourteen other people injured in the crash remain in intensive care in two hospitals.
