Coronation Street: find out what’s next for Kylie and David
Soap fans witnessed bad boy Callum, played by Sean Ward, killed off in the first 15 minutes by his former girlfriend Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) in what he described as a “Game of Thrones-style” death.
However, he is unlikely to resurface from beneath the Cobbles where David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) convinced Kylie and Sarah to bury him, despite viewers’ theories.
“It’s been phenomenal playing Callum”.
“Alongside the 24-second clip they posted: “A very special “GOOD LUCK!” to @ITVCorrie from everyone at #EastEnders headquarters!”
The trend of interactivity seems like it’s set to continue in an effort to add a more immersive experience to viewers. “Incredibly lucky to work with such a fantastic team”.
The ITV soap has been preparing for an hour-long live episode to celebrate the shows 60th anniversary.
Sally’s fiance Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) was devastated at the betrayal.
Viewers will also be able to choose the music at Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles) and Andrea Beckett’s (Hayley Tamaddon) leaving party in an interactive poll on Facebook and Twitter.
Still, aside from these minor glitches, Corrie’s stars were praised for their seamless acting, and there were no major script flubs. Loved the red Cadillac.
