Stream your music from OneDrive to Xbox Music app

Microsoft announced what we’re calling the July Xbox One Update just yesterday in a post on its Major Nelsonblog.
Offline playback is another new feature. Plex cited that there will be new navigation shortcuts available, which will offer new key bindings that will directly begin playing items when flipping between TV episodes using the L/R bumpers or when browsing via the X button. The company also details “various bug fixes” in its changelog.
With the introduction of Windows 10, the Redmond-based company will introduce a subscription based music model branded as Groove.
Reported by Gamespot, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that he believes the addition of backwards compatibility to Xbox One is really good for the gaming industry as a whole. This means that the Xbox One gamers will be able to play Xbox 360 titles on their console. It will also prepare for the upcoming Backward Compatibility feature which will release later in 2015. However, Microsoft’s Xbox division is currently focused into matters behinds the screen as it prepares for the one of the systems biggest overhaul. The initial phase launched with only 20 games with compatibility, but presumably that will be expanded universally later this year. The Groove app will help the users download music and store it on their one drive, allowing the users to play the music in device that is supported by the OneDrive.
Microsoft has always faced a tough time in the world of music right form when the initially launched the Zune till the modern day where there music services are receiving a very average response. Just create a folder (if you don’t already have one) called Music at the top level of your OneDrive, copy some music into it, and then fire up the latest version of the Xbox Music app on your phone (here’re links for Android and iOS) and (after a few moments spent syncing) you should see your OneDrive music in the app.
