Chris Evans reveals why Captain America battles Iron Man in Civil War

While we know he’ll be present for “Avengers: Infinity Wars Part I & II”, Feige’s comments do little to assuage the concerns of fans who think Steve Rogers may be killed off at the conclusion of “Civil War” as he is in the comic book storyline. “He’s a great actor too, the guy who plays Captain America does an attractive job – Chris Evans”.

This, says Evans, may also be one reason why the Captain refuses to bow down to the government’s wishes and only trusts that the safest way to ensure that a hero’s secret identity is not compromised is to keep it to themselves. “This is a tough thing”.

He continued, “Hopefully what will make the movie great is nobody’s right, nobody’s wrong. We both have a point of view, which is akin to most disagreements in life and politics”, Evans elaborated.

Perhaps unfortunately, the entire movie won’t be like this, since there is at least one clear bad guy that simplifies things eventually.

Civil War sees the superheroes asked to sign accords and be held accountable for their actions.

According to GMA on Yahoo, the Captain had trust issues since “The Winter Soldier” after witnessing how Hydra was able to infiltrate the government and even S.H.I.E.L.D., the Avenger’s mother organization.

“Whatever side Captain America was on [should win], because he’s the best, pure-hearted person in the whole world”, quotes Comic Book. But what will happen to split the Avengers apart in the first place? Stark is backed by his artificial intelligence The Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Cap hates it. Iron Man digs it. The two form their own separate teams and duke it out, but rumors regarding the upcoming film version of the story seem to suggest that a few of the circumstances have changed.

With this, many are concerned if Cap will be bidding goodbye after “Civil War“.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having Tony Stark and Steve Rogers assume these stances on the “accords” reflects a logical yet total 180-degree reversal of their original attitudes regarding authority.
