Nexus 5X, 6P to hit Indian shores by October-end
Internet search giant Google on Tuesday launched a new tablet named Pixel C priced at United States dollars 499 to compete with products like the Apple iPad Pro and the Microsoft Surface.
The 5.7 inch device comes with WQHD AMOLED display and framed upon an all aluminum metallic body.
Fresh from its September 29 Nexus event, fans of Google are still hyped about the company’s new and upcoming lineups.
Yep, the leaks were spot-on as Google revealed the Nexus 5X by LG and the Nexus 6P by Huawei.
As you all know, Nexus devices ship with stock Android on top, in this case, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In addition, it is clear that Google wanted both devices to be very affordable and LG, which manufactured the Nexus 5X, has managed to deliver on this front. However, Android enthusiasts look forward to the latest Nexus as it always shows what the latest Android platform is capable of.
The Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 810 eight-core processor, 3GB of RAM, up to 128GB of non-expandable storage, and a non-removable 3,450mAh battery.
The Nexus 5X starts at US$379 for USA customers and the 6P starts at US$499.
At a news conference in San Francisco, the company also claims the 6P has the best-ever camera in a Nexus phone.
The 5.2-inch Nexus 5X is their third edition after the Nexus 4 launched in 2012 and Nexus 5 in 2013.
According to Venture Beat, both Google phones are impressive with support for 4K resolution and Type-C USB chargers.
With the Nexus-branded devices, Google is able to control much of the hardware and software in a manner similar to Apple, which has its own operating system.
The Marshmallow version has been designed with an Android’s Personal Assistant, Google Now.
Google has unveiled Pixel C, an Android based tablet that it said it maunfactured from design to delivery. The devices will sell for $35 apiece, the same price that Google has been charging for the original Chromecast, which has won over a lot of households.
