Watch Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel Work Through Their Issues in Therapy
“I try to get him on the show”, Kimmel said.
“He promised me over a decade ago that I was going to be a guest on the show”, Damon explained.
The pair later hugged it out, but their awkward embrace soon had them struggling again, as the gesture soon turned into a set-smashing grapple. “He thinks he is the only celebrity in California”. “And now he makes me feel insane!” “He thinks the world revolves around him….”
Still, the pair inched closer to a breakthrough, with Kimmel admitting he liked a few of Damon’s friends, and Damon saying, “I like his show – I wouldn’t have waited for 12 years to get on if I didn’t like the show”. When the therapist asked Kimmel to imagine what it would be like to be Damon he said, “I imagine it would suck to be him”.
In their “therapy” session, the two poked fun at Damon’s movie We Bought a Zoo as well as the 44-year-old’s looks.
As the session continued, Damon revealed that he doesn’t just show up each night, but actually lives in the dressing room, while Kimmel insisted that the actor was a spoiled star who could not accept that Kimmel wasn’t his show.
So, could the two say anything nice about the other? Watch the latest development in the feud here.
Drew Barrymore showed off her moves on Dave’s desk – and, for an encore, flashed the host.
Barack Obama became the first-ever sitting USA president to appear on the “Late Show” in 2009.
“It was that one time”, Damon replied. It would end up being Carson’s last TV appearance.
