Taylor Swift Clarifies False Rumors About Marriage on Twitter
Swift is clearly a work first kind of gal. “There is no easy way for me to engage with romance”. The “Wildest Dreams” singer addressed the rumors on Twitter and denied the assertions that she is set to purchase a brand new mansion in Beverly Hills and that she is marrying Harris in an English castle.
Previous reports claimed that Swift spent $25 million on the famed Goldywn estate in Beverly Hills, and another said she and Harris were engaged and planning to say, “I do”. What I’m doing: “Playing a show in St. Louis”, Taylor tweeted.
Guess we won’t have to prepare ourselves for a T-Swift white-veil occasion anytime soon!
This latest acquisition (which Variety exclusively reported on via a few “trusted” sources) is the Goldwyn Estate, built in the 1930s for film producer Samuel Goldwyn-you can call him the “G” in MGM.
Just 25 years old with a breathtaking income – Forbes estimates she hauled in $80 million between June 2014 and June 2015 – the platinum selling phenom presides over an expanding portfolio of increasingly posh residential properties that all together, by our rudimentary calculation, cost the seven-time Grammy victor more than $70 million. If Swift would buy the said mansion, she could let her close friends, including the famous celebrities in her popular and award-winning “Bad Blood” video, to stay for a couple of days.
“It’s interesting because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up”, Calvin told United Kingdom radio station KIIS FM.
