OJ Simpson nearly killed himself in Kim Kardashian’s bedroom before white
The journalist reportedly acquired a recording made shortly before OJ’s white Bronco police chase that he deems a suicide tape, prepared by Simpson in then-13-year-old Kim Kardashian‘s bedroom.
“Please remember me as ‘The Juice, ‘” he pleaded in the tape.
Kim Kardashian is partially responsible for O.J. Simpson being alive to see the 20 anniversary of his infamous murder trial. Simpson’s tape, insists Schiller, was “intended to be his final words”.
Kim Kardashian does not appear in the 20/20 special. According to Schiller, the late celebrity attorney told O.J., “My little girl Kim sleeps here”.
Kardashian, quickly taking note of where Simpson was heading with that narrative, focused his efforts on talking Simpson off the ledge-and out of his daughter’s bedroom.
The recording alleges Simpson as saying: “I’m going to kill myself in this room”, before Robert replies: “You can’t”. Simpson, who was looking at photos of his children and wife Nicole Brown Simpson, also had a gun.
Because of the full access Schiller had during the trial, he had recorded interviews of Kardashian discussing on Simpson’s attempted suicide.
“I didn’t speak up when I thought anything was wrong or asked her more, ‘Do you want to talk about it?'” Jenner, now 59, adds. “I can’t have my little girl in this bedroom and every time I come in here I’m gonna see your body”.
‘The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, “He’s going to kill me and he’s going to get away with it'”.
Simpson, now 68, was acquitted of the murders. but is incarcerated in federal prison for an unrelated crime. Cuba Gooding Jr. will portray O.J. Simpson, and former “Friends” star (Ross Gellar) David Schwimmer will play Robert Kardashian Sr.
