‘Fantastic Beasts’ Just Found A New Cast Member
Sudol actually auditioned with Waterston and a group of girls to get a role in the film. They encounter Newt during his travels through New York City.
The action follows Newt Scamander, a so-called magiczoologist, as he travels around cataloging all manner of odd and wonderful creatures that will ultimately form the basis of his book. David Yates, who directed the last four “Harry Potter” films and will direct “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. Not only that, but Broadway’s Josh Gad is in talks for another supporting role.
Sudol confirmed herself Friday morning, via her Twitter, that she has joined the cast as Queenie, sister of Tina (Katherine Waterston).
It was originally was rumored that in addition to Sudol, Dakota Fanning, Saoirse Ronan and Lili Simmons were rumored to be up for the role of Tina, but we now know it was in fact Queenie. The production of the movie is yet to begin.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is already scheduled for a prime November 18, 2016 release, so you have to imagine well hear about the rest of the casting before too long. Kredan might be played by Ezra Miller, while Variety has reported that Josh Gad and John Krasinski are being considered for Jacob. Pictures’ highly-anticipated feature Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a new adventure set in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. The actress, who is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Atlas Artists is actually known for her musical career as the singer and songwriter for the band “A Fine Frenzy“, who popularized the song “Almost Lover”.
