Florida Shooting Leaves Three Dead, Including Gunman

– Deputies responded to a shooting in the town of Inglis, just north of Citrus County Thursday night.

The Levy County Sheriff’s office has confirmed that at least three have been shot dead and 1 airlifted to UF Health Shands Gainesville with serious injuries, WCJB TV-20 reports.

EMS and police were quickly dispatched to the scene. They found two men in the front yard of the home. Deputies surrounded the home, because they had suspiciouns that the shooter was inside. The man stepped away from the window and moments later deputies heard a gunshot and a thud, Thummond said.

When officers enter the residence, they found the body of a woman on the first floor.

Police believe the suspected shooter is dead due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police have not identified the people in shooting, pending next-of-kin.

There are reports three people have died and at least one other is seriously injured in a second mass-shooting in the USA today.
