Taylor Swift Donates $50000 to Dancer’s Nephew Who Has Cancer

One of Swift’s background dancers, Kim “Toshi” Davidson, was forced to recently confront the devastating news that his nephew, Ayden, was diagnosed with cancer. Her donation more than doubled the initial fundraising goal, which was originally $20,000.

Swift wrote on her Facebook wall: “Kevin, I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom”. @taylorswift13 is an angel and my family and I can’t thank her enough…

In July 2015, Taylor donated $50,000 to a fan battling cancer. “This unexpected gift is truly a blessing”. Keep him in your prayers please, ‘ he wrote.

The family behind the page also confirmed the donation when they shared an update on the site Wednesday evening.

Ateamiv wrote on Instagram that he saw Swift’s donation upon landing in Toronto to perform later that night on her 1989 World Tour.

Since the page was created on September 29, 51 people including the famous pop star have donated to baby Ayden’s cause, raising a total of $53, 710.

“Thank you so much for ALL of the outpouring of LOVE and PRAYERS and SUPPORT!!!”

The page adds that Ayden will continue to go through tests “to find out exactly what type of cancer it is”.

The battle against cancer is an issue close to Swift’s heart. His mother went to the page to share a thank you of her own.

This isn’t the first time Taylor’s done something awesome like this.
