Man breaks down after learning wife is pregnant

Of course, she made a decision to film his reaction and the result is truly heartwarming.

That all changed recently, when Dana learned she was five months pregnant.

Arkell didn’t know, and Dana knew she had to plan the best possible announcement. Not only was she pregnant, but she was almost at the five-month mark.

So she surprised her husband, putting a few buns in their kitchen oven alongside the baby’s ultrasound picture.

“I’ve never been that excited before in my life and I mean not mainly for myself, for her”, adds Arkell.

He is seen looking long and hard at the scene that had been set in the oven, before whirling around to face his wife with wide eyes.

“You’re pregnant!” he exclaimed over and over again.

Dana recorded her husband’s reaction to share with family, but that video has garnered thousands of likes on social media. You’re pregnant. “You’re pregnant”. But she isn’t finished.

That’s when her husband started to weep uncontrollably.

“His reaction was just priceless”, explains Dana, “I wasn’t expecting that at all”.

Dozens of viewers were moved to tears by the couple’s touching news and Arkell’s infectious enthusiasm, with one fan writing: ‘I love when he says “come here”, so much love.

The couple has been trying to have children for 17 years and after one still born baby and four miscarriages, they are rejoicing in their good news. I’m praying for you.
