First X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Promo Poster Released
As reported by Comic Book Resources, the set could be “the grounds of the X-Mansion and the age-old home of the X-Men is known for getting destroyed one or two or twenty times over the course of its comic career”.
This has been confirmed by the movie’s Director Bryan Jay Singer, in a post on his Instagram account, where he posted a rogue cut teaser of the movie. Now, Singer is promising the “true birth of the X-Men” with next year’s Apocalypse, and it’s shaping up to be something very special indeed. Returning stars include Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Hoult and Rose Byrne.
To cap off the massive celebration, the casts of X-Men were joined onstage by actors from Fox and Marvel’s superhero pics Deadpool, Fantastic Four and Wolverine for a giant group photo. Oscar Isaac will play the role of Apocalypse, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Lana Condor as Jubilee, Ben Hardy as Angel, Alexandra Shipp as the younger Storm, Sophie Turner as young Jean Grey, and Tye Sheridan as Cyclops.
Before he could take it-Channing Tatum, recently announced for X-Men standalone film Gambit, grabbed the camera and assemble the superheroes before the roaring Hall H audience.
Credit must be given to Matthew Vaughn for giving things a burst of fresh energy with First Class, but many would argue that things didn’t really get back on track until Bryan Singer returned with X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
