Target to begin selling Apple Watch starting October 25th
The Apple Watch has arrived at Target. This time it’s Target, as the United States retailer has announced that it will start carrying the smartwatch today at select locations, with all stores to begin stocking it by October 25th.
Target will begin stocking the Watch in selected stores this week, followed by its website on October 18, and in all retail stores by October 25.
For additional savings, Target customers can use their REDcard store credit card for a 5 percent savings on their Apple Watch purchase.
Target will be selling 20 models, from the Sport and Watch collections, including space gray and rose gold Sport models.
The Minneapolis-based retailer follows another retailing behemoth, Richfield-based Best Buy, which had a limited Apple Watch rollout in late summer, and has been accelerating since then after reporting robust sales.
A more limited selection will appear in brick-and-mortar stores. Sprint and T-Mobile are also selling the watch as an accessory to the new iPhones. In any case, that hasn’t kept statistical surveying gatherings from taking their best figure.
