Alex Ferguson to coach David Beckham-led team in charity match
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has moved to clarify comments he made about the world-class players he worked with during his time at the club, insisting he was referring to those stars who made a big difference in the team. The Duo will be taking on Fergie’s former rival Carlo Ancelotti and Beckham’s ex-team-mate, Zinedine Zidane!
“So I’ll be bringing my boots back out and playing a game on November 14th, 3pm and playing at Old Trafford”.

The event will be separate to the biannual charity football match Soccer Aid, which was created by Robbie Williams and also raises money for UNICEF.
“We chose to raise funds by doing a game”, declared Beckham, speaking on BBC Radio One.
“He was my favourite manager that I ever played for, he gave me the chance to play for the team that I had supported for my whole life and obviously the success we had there was all down to him as a manager and the players that we played with”, said Beckham.
“It’s an fantastic thing to have him involved in his”. “He’s like a father figure to me”.
Legendary referee Pierluigi Collina will officiate the game, which has been called “The Match for Children”.

“Football is such a powerful tool and to have Zidane on the field, Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti in the stands, I think people are going to love it”.
Alex Ferguson has criticised David Moyes for sacking Mike Phelan when he took over at Manchester United in 2013, accusing his successor of needing to prove his “manhood” by making “counter-productive” changes. It’s like when I was a kid – my mum would be the strict one but then, all of a sudden, if my dad had to get involved, I knew I was in trouble.
