Olympic diver Tom Daley engaged to long-term boyfriend Dustin Lance Black

Soon Tom will undoubtedly be seen sporting new jewellery, but after Rio, he could have more gold than a ring on his finger.

Tom’s father Rob gave up his electrician’s business in 2006 so he could accompany the diver to all of his events.

He said: “He saved me from not wanting to dive anymore. I made the first move, I typed “call me” in his notes with a smiley face on this phone and the next day he texted”.

Despite the age difference, the couple has been deeply committed to each other these past two years. That someone is a guy, ‘ Tom said.
