Cindy Crawford’s daughter looks up to Kendall Jenner

She might be well on her way to becoming a supermodel, but Kaia Gerber is still a teenager and that means can get embarrassed by her look-alike mum.

She told Porter magazine: “In my thirties and even early forties, I could kind of still fake it. But then I started to worry that I was disappointing people, that I wasn’t delivering the “Cindy Crawford” that they expected”.

Crawford further said that she has learned a lot from Richards and getting famous is one of those things along with other personal things.

Speaking about their online and social media habits, Cindy teased Kaia that she finds her mum’s Instagram embarrassing. It was important to me to share only stories that had a message or a lesson that had a universal appeal…

Cindy Crawford is making the rounds this week promoting her photographic memoir “Becoming”, which comes out today. It’s not worse, even though the world may not always agree with you about that.

Kaia continuously expressed pride in her mom throughout the sit-down, bringing up the fact that Cindy was one of two Valedictorians in her high school class.

Cindy also opened up about Kaia’s blossoming career as a model, confessing that while she initially didn’t want her daughter starting until she was 17, she is happy to “provide a road map and help you make good choices” in her career. “Unless they’re superhuman, nobody’s going to look flawless all the time”, Kaia said. Cindy laughed, “By the way, that’s how you’ll know when you find the right husband – when he thinks you look your best the way you wake up, without doing your hair, makeup, or anything”.

Now that her mother has published her first book, Kaia shared: ‘People won’t only see your beauty, but your intelligence and positivity’.
