“Paint It Pink” encourages people across Ireland to hold pink fundraisers at home, in their communities or at work to raise vital life-saving funds for breast cancer research and support services. Finding breast cancer early can improve the chances that breast cancer can be treated successfully and with more treatment options, less extensive surgery and, ultimately, better treatment outcomes.

To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Colts are hosting their Pinking of the Canal event.
“I’m doing very well, and hopefully, I can move forward and be in good health“, she said.
The night was highlighted with inspirational stories from three breast cancer survivors, Angela Hansen, Jolene TerHark and Carrie Zimmerle.
“People ask why we turn the fountain pink to kickoff Breast Cancer Awareness Month”. For this first time at the event, free clinical breast exams were available for those in need… all part of this year’s focus on early detection.
Women should not feel guilty about a change in their insurance plans or job loss because the Victory in Pink program screens women regardless of their ability to pay.
