The trailer, which can be watched below, features Peter Capaldi’s Doctor, plenty of monsters, Daleks, and adventure. However, I think we can narrow it down even further.
Not much has been said about the episode, besides it being a period piece. “If he was a “guy” he’d have my face and be a really nice person”.

The Doctor is joined by Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) for time travel on a cinematic scale. Doctor Who returns to BBC on September 19.
As if that’s not quite enough to speculate on, Moffat made clear that he’s not against a “Doctor Who” / “Sherlock” crossover, although didn’t say that anything specific was being planned. Later, Capaldi said that his eyebrows were the most visually iconic thing about his version of the Doctor. Gomez said, “I will not reveal myself as a man today”.
Hardwick asked why the Doctor “is so enamored of humans”.
“They’re very much a team”, Coleman shared. Very deeply. It’s the only show that I followed since I was six years old. I aged him to death! As always, throwing it to the fans can lead to some interesting answers. “It would have to fit into the history, or the canon as it were of the TV show”.
