‘Dancing with the Stars’ Shocker: Kim Zolciak No Show Due To Stroke
Unfortunately, Kim is still recovering and hence, could not participate on the show even though she has practiced with her partner Tony Dovolani.
As of now, Kim is still on the process of recovery but still has a few girl power left, as she slammed TV host Wendy Williams for accusing her that she was just staging her health scare to gain more sympathy and advance in the dance competition.
Should Kim Zolciak be allowed back on DWTS?
In fact, Kim, who was reportedly blindsided by the news, shared an Instagram video on Monday night showing her practice with Tony.
In a recent interview on the popular dancing competition series Dovolani assured viewers that Zolciak had in fact suffered from a transient ischemic attack (TIA), or mini-stroke. The talk show host went on to tell the audience how Zolciak “allegedly” suffered a mini stroke last week.
Another pro Derek Hough took another stance. So we don’t know what the outcome was, but the rules say, you can’t go the next week if you don’t perform.
Zolciak spent last week rehearsing in Atlanta with her pro partner Tony Dovolani, but was ultimately advised by her doctor not to fly and was therefore unable to compete. “I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health”, she said in a statement to Us Weekly on Sunday.
The reality star just said that she hopes this is not the end of her dancing.
“I think the show handled it right”.
If a contestant misses a dance due to health or illness, they are required by the show rules to withdraw from the competition.
Dovolani then used the power of social media to urge fans to support Zolciak’s reinstatement. Which is exactly what she does, even stressing that she would return to the dancefloor as soon as she gets the doctor’s OK.
