‘Star Wars’ fans treated to big surprises at Comic-Con 2015

Fans at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H were treated to a special look behind the scenes of Star Wars:The Force Awakens by director J.J.
After assuring fans he was feeling well, Ford told the crowd “it felt great” to playing Han Solo again, according to the Times. “I walked here so how bad can it be?”
Legions of fans had slept outside the Comic-Con convention centre in San Diego for days before the much anticipated appearance.
Those who braved the astoundingly long line (or, those like me, who followed The Verge’s live blogs and refreshed their Twitter feed like a compulsive maniac) were greeted by an ever-increasing roster of talent from both sides of the camera spanning the saga’s 38-year (and counting) legacy.
Sure there were eye-popping visuals of a Stormtrooper wielding a flame thrower and a crashed TIE-fighter, but the biggest cheers were reserved for the confirmation that Simon Pegg does indeed have a cameo as a creature in the movie that opens on December 18.
The San Diego Symphony orchestra then performed the main Star Wars theme, the Imperial and other compositions from the iconic franchise. Seated next to Hamill, the gruff Ford was not hesitant to talk about his reluctance to revisit the world of “Star Wars” and the character of Han Solo. “Everything’s changed but nothing’s changed”, said Hamill in the clip.
