Shakira Is Ready For Her Second Child with Boyfriend, Gerard Pique
Now it is time for Shakira to celebrate her would-be motherhood! No wonder, in a few days, she would have a cute little one in her lap.
On August 27, Thursday, the celebrity singer tweeted saying that “Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you all for your well wishes!” The popular Columbian soloist, the one and only famous Shakira, is expecting a baby soon. She is pregnant with her second baby, according to her confirmation made to the Spanish edition of Cosmopolitan.
The “Waka Waka” singer is in expectation her baby no. 2 with her boyfriend Gerard Pique. The star vocalist met her star soccer boyfriend while she was promoting the anthem of 2010 World Cup, “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).” The celebrity couple had their first baby son in January 2013. The baby, named Milan, is just 18 months old now.
The globally renowned pop star, Shakira, recently revealed to the AP that ““If it wasn’t for the World Cup, my son Milan would not be here,” At the final soccer world cup on July 13, Sunday, prior to performing her new 2014 World Cup single “La La La (Brazil 2014)” she told this to the AP.
Her baby Milan and her sweetheart Pique made appearance in her soccer-oriented music video for the new single. Also, the song was released just after the luminary singer’s self-titled 10th studio album’s release came in March. It made debut at No. 2 on the Billboard charts. Shakira is also very frank about having a big family, as she told to Latina magazine. Shakira told, “If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — my own futbol team.”
