Iwan Thomas becomes first celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2015
He didn’t fare well on Saturday night’s show, landing bottom of the leaderboard.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has had its first casualty of the new series, with the judges choosing to eliminate Iwan Thomas from the competition in Sunday (4 October) night’s show.
But Iwan’s enthusiasm wasn’t enough to keep the Olympic medalist in the competition, with all of the judges voting to save the Loose Women panellist instead.
“I’ve loved training with you, it has been awesome”. I can’t wait to find out who will be joining Craig, Bruno and myself – it’s going to be a lot of fun!
‘Sometimes less is more, come out and bring it down a notch’. “Believe or not, I was getting slightly better each day!”
However Ola hit back at claims she was angry after being partnered with Iwan.
“The problem I found on Strictly was that it was subjective and it is hard”.
Yesterday, she hinted she wanted Peter Andre as her partner this year.
Kellie Bright admitted it was “awful” saying goodbye to a contestant, telling host Claudia Winkleman: ‘We’re a gang now.
Rod Stewart also took to the dance floor to perfom his new song Please.
Thomas and Jordan cha-cha’d to LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It”, and Jamelia and MacManus performed to the Pussycat Dolls” “Don’t Cha’.
Thomas and his professional partner Ola Jordan failed to get the judges’ hearts racing with their routines. Strictly Come Dancing’s Director of Choreography Jason Gilkison has created a dance built around the show’s famous theme tune featuring a few classic, well-loved moves.
“I’m going to miss everyone so much”.
Bruno Tonioli told the couple: “You went for the neantherthal approach and smashed it to the point of extinction”. Dances have to exude a certain character.
And Craig Revel Horwood sniffed: “21 and a half hours of training wasted”. It was stompy, unrhythmic, it didn’t work’.
She added: “I’ve known Peter a while”.
