OnePlus X to be Unveiled in October, Check out the Specs!
However, the OnePlus X will be coming with a different design. According to the images posted by Gizmochina, the OnePlus X will have a better look than the OnePlus 2. It also confirms OnePlus’ plans to enter the budget segment ie the sub-Rs 20k segment.
According to Gizmo China, a tipster from the partner factories of the OnePlus has revealed that the new handset will be called OnePlus X. The OnePlus X is expected to feature the Snapdragon 801 chipset that includes a quad-core processor.
Moreover, the past leak pictures related to the smartphone claimed that the phone will be featuring full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display, and on the storage grounds the phone is expected to offer a 32GB of inbuilt storage, along with a 2GB of RAM. Instead, the report claims that the OnePlus X will arrive with flagship specifications capable of delivering a superior performance.
Recent reports have hinted that the upcoming smartphone from OnePlus, dubbed the OnePlus Mini, would be a mid-range device with an appealing design. “It would be a global launch, but India will be the biggest focus”. However, the new device will feature the same USB Type-C port which was earlier found in the OnePlus 2.
Looking at the pricing of the gadget, the OnePlus X is rumoured to be priced at approximately $249.
The smartphone will compete with other players in the market, such as the Xiaomi Michigan 4 and Motorola Moto X Play, among others. One can see a dual rear-camera setup, a circular finger-print scanner and more pronounced grilles for speakers.
It is not clear whether the OnePlus X will be directly available for purchase or users will have to buy it through the infamous invite system.
It’s all in the rumor state at this point, but if the OnePlus X is indeed set to launch in October, more information should come to light soon enough.
When the moment of release comes forth, nearly all the leaked features specs stare glaringly in front of the buyers that the spark from the launch remains elusive for many.
