Chevron Scores Tampa Bay Bucs Sponsorship
Cliff McBride/Getty ImagesIn the latest move to show that sports ticket sales now take a back seat to television revenue and merchandising, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made a proposal that shows they actually want fewer home games than other teams.
Those renovations would cost TSA $26 million. Hagan said. “There’s a reason why the Glazers are disliked internationally”. The inconsistencies on this team need to be fixed quickly if they hope to stay competitive in their division or to win a wildcard spot, otherwise the Texans will miss out on the postseason for the third straight season. Defensively, Tampa is struggling against the run, giving up 138 yards per game on the ground.
Hagan told FOX 13 the TSA also had several other financial-related requests that could benefit taxpayers, but the organization was turned down.
It sounds like someone has realized that Jaguars owner Shad Khan has done pretty well for himself taking a home game to London, and since the Bucs aren’t selling as well as they used to, goosing their ticket revenues with a practically guaranteed sellout overseas should help the bottom line. We talk about who Mike James is – not like that surprised me.
Hagan said it’s unclear where the negotiations will go next.
“Over the last nine months, we have conducted very positive discussions with the Tampa Sports Authority regarding the state-of-the-art upgrades that ensure that Raymond James Stadium remains among the best venues in all of sports”.
“We are excited to welcome Chevron as our newest sponsor”, said Brian Ford, the Buccaneers’ chief operating officer.
During our conversations, many ideas have been discussed in an effort to continue growing our fan base in Tampa and securing large events such as the Super Bowl to our community.
According to the report, in exchange for allowing the Bucs two regular season games elsewhere – the current agreement allows for one game each season to be played outside of Tampa – TSA wants assurances that Tampa will either host another Super Bowl before 2028 or a Manchester United soccer match.
