Daniel Craig Confirms He’ll Play James Bond One More Time

“I came here to kill you,” replies Bond, to which Oberhauser says: “And I thought you came here to die”.

The final official trailer for the new James Bond film, Spectre, features a face-off between the sharp-suited spy and his arch-villain nemesis. Sam Mendes, the director of Spectre 007 is the second sequel of the film directed by him following Skyfall, which was penned by Neal Purvis, Jez Butterworth, John Logan, and Robert Wade.

The actor sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the highly anticipated upcoming 007 film, Spectre, and hinted at what’s next for James Bond. Bond, of course, counters that response with, “Well, it’s all a matter of perspective”.

“But I couldn’t just do a movie where I would straighten my tie and drink a Martini”. Bond is clearly going for a dirty [martini] to impress his dining companion – it’s all very sensual.

“It’s an honour to play Bond”, he told the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine.

Even though he’s only got three Bond movies under his belt with one due for release before the end of the year, the impact Daniel Craig’s made on Bond as a whole can’t be denied. The famous actor actually sprained his knee while filming a fight scene and production was stopped for a few days.

The new James Bond SPECTRE – complete with DB10 – gets its world premier on 26 October in the UK. The cast of Spectre also includes Naomie Harris Ben Wishaw, Rory Kinnear, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Andrew Scott. It will hit the screens in United Kingdom on November 6 and in India on November 20.
