Final Fantasy XV Live Stage Demo Confirmed For GamesCom 2015 – Gamepur
While it’s nearly certain that Square Enix will release “Final Fantasy XV” for PS4 and Xbox One this year, fans are clamoring to hear the giant gaming studio announce a PC version as well.
The report states that Square Enix has been allegedly working on the “Final Fantasy XV” PC version for a long time now but notes that due to the soon to be released Windows 10, it has forced Square Enix to modify the code of the game to be much more compatible to Windows 10 and Direct X 12. The alleged “Final Fantasy XV” PC version demo is reportedly called “Final Fantasy XV Witch – Chapter 0”. There are also differences in the leaked demo compared to what was initially featured on the trailer for the console versions.
According to a report by Arash Fehkri of Master Herald, a gameplay leak of the “Final Fantasy XV” PC version was allegedly leaked online. The job posting also indicated that the ideal hire should have an interest and experience in playing PC games.
Square Enix is expected to reveal more details in August for the upcoming Gamescom in Germany since it did not participate in the concluded E3 2015. The presentation is scheduled on the last day of Gamescom.
Square Enix has admitted that numerous issues in the Mac version comes from a misjudging of the system requirements of the game as translated over to Mac builds.
It greatly helped that the teaser presented during the event has a narrator describing what was going on in the scenes.
According to the game’s director and producer, Naoki Yoshida, the team behind “Final Fantasy XIV Online” has received several complaints about the Mac client, leading them and Square Enix to ultimately halt sales.
