Daniel Craig contracted for one more Bond outing

Following the first full trailer, there is more to be seen of the expansive desert settings where Bond must undertake his mysterious mission, and we can see inside the now-famous barrel-rolling helicopter.

On the other hand, an interview of Craig with Mail Online implied that his possible exit on the franchise may not be soon as he has one more contract to fulfill before deciding his future.

Spectre will be Craig’s fourth outing as the British spy, having played the iconic character in three instalments so far – Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace and Skyfall. His answer? He’s still on for one more movie, but the 47 year-old actor alluded to how much tougher the demands of the part – especially involving stuntwork – have become with age. You always sorta get the feeling with Daniel Craig that he’s trying to get his foot out the door with Bond, that he’s locked into it.

“I work myself to death”, said Craig, who also admitted that he’s doing less stunts. I don’t need any of his lifestyle. Franz adds, “And I thought you came here to die”, to which James responds, “Well, it’s all a matter of perspective”. The idea of planning ahead – I’m not trying to be coy.

Skyfall was the highest grossing Bond movie of all-time with over $1 billion worldwide, and Spectre is going to need to do a lot to top both that and the movie’s overall quality. “People want an answer and I don’t have one”, he says. And I felt the need to push Sam [director, Mendes] probably harder than I should, and he kicked back and pushed me and we’ve done the same on this [new movie Spectre].
