Will raise the Dadri lynching case in United Nations, says Azam Khan
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintains a deafening silence qua the inflammatory, provocative and incendiary statements aimed at rabble-rousing by union ministers and BJP leaders”, said party leader Pramod Tiwari said. He demanded a ban on leather all the products made out of cowride.
He said, “If India becomes a Hindu Rashtra then what will be the role of Muslims?”
Singh also slammed Uttar Pradesh minister Mohammad Azam Khan over his remarks that he will raise the trend of rising communal violence in India in the United Nations. “I have sought to know what will be the position of Muslims in India today”, Khan told reporters in Lucknow, a day after he escorted Akhlaq’s family to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s residence.
At the same time, Khan urged people to target five-star hotels serving beef…”just as you razed the Babri mosque”.
“The Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh has failed to contain such incidents and was now trying to shirk its responsibility”, Bharatiya Janata Party’s state spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
“Azam Khan should first read the indian constitution before speaking”, he said in another tweet. A magisterial inquiry has already been ordered into the incident.
“The involvement of the BJP in the Dadri incident is further established with the arrest of a party leader’s son as prime suspect in organising the meeting which culminated in the attack on the victim’s home”.
Khan also stated that the BJP is linking the lynching case with Bihar assembly polls. “Sadly, the people of the state are not seeing through their political games”, he said.
